The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers into the community.
SASSA will be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed regarding the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This really sassa status check is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis.
